Romanians reacted, on Wednesday, to the Romanian Gendarmerie’s Valentine’s Day message on social networks. Most of the netizens’ comments were ironies.
The post shows an image of a policewoman holding a gun with a rose on top, accompanied by the message “Love is like a secret mission. It hits you when you least expect it!”.
As expected, the post sparked several reactions among netizens. Most qualified the post as “embarrassing” asking ironically if “hospital 9 is here” (the old colloquial name of the Bucharest Neuropsychiatry Hospital) or to congratulate the PR team.

One of the netizens cynically “recommends” that “parsley should be put on the tip of the gun. They represent some hunters of old people who sell on the street corner”.
